30 Blogs day 2: Sari doing good things

Someone recently said, "You know school is back in when you see Mrs. Pippus in the paper".  Sari is in our local paper about every other week.  This time she got an entire page.
I will post the link when the story is put online, but basically she and her principal were asked to go to Weyburn and tell the board about her program and what it is doing for the students.  They were so impressed that they called today and asked them to come back in October so that they can present the program to all the principals and vice-principals in the entire school division so that maybe they can implement something similar.

(Editor's note:  For those who don't know, Sara runs a breakfast program, after school clubs and is basically the "mother of Hillcrest school".  She creates programs that help kids grow and learn in various ways)

While there are many that help with fundraising and volunteering, it is Sara who has put this program together and it is her heart for the kids that has made it successful.

We are super proud of her and what she is doing!  Obviously, other people are too.  :)

Sara puts me in mind of her mother. I have always appreciated the sweet fingerprints Mrs. Muller left on my life and I imaging the students Sara touches feel the same way.
