Seriously - she was super happy about this. No speech... no spotlight... no pictures in the paper. On the other hand..... super nice friends.... tons of fun..... a good meal..... a little recognition for a lot of hard work.
It really was a nice day. I would highly recommend taking in this event next year. It is a joyous and upbeat thing supporting a lot of people who do a lot of good.
Thank you to those who nominated Sara and to all those who came to support her - that was the best "win" of all.
PS. About 300 people showed up. This picture shows about 1/3 of the crowd (See if you can spot Megan's and Sara's heads) :)
