It is not every day that you see something like this, so I thought I would share it.
The USS Lexington, an aircraft carrier that was hit and then scuttled on May 8, 1942, was located this past weekend. It was found more than 800 kilometres off Australia's east coast about 3000 metres (or almost 2 miles) under the surface.
You can see the name on the ship..... airplanes scattered about..... guns on the deck. It is a very interesting and sobering reminder.
